American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) USA
The AAPD Interfaith Initiative seeks to "support people with disabilities and their families as they seek spiritual and religious access, and to bring the powerful and prophetic voice of the faith community to the 21st Century disability agenda." AAPD also sponsors the Interfaith Disability Advocacy Coalition (IDAC) to mobilize the religious community to speak out and take action on disability policy issues at the national level.

American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) USA
The leading American professional organization working to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities has a Religion & Spirituality Division which works to foster opportunities for spiritual growth for person with disabilities.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
NAMI FaithNet is an outreach of this American advocacy organization on mental illness to all religious organizations.
